Fees and Referrals
Appointments are generally for 50 minutes and cost $250, payable on the day of the appointment. Clients who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from their GP are eligible for a $141.85 Medicare rebate, which leaves an out-of-pocket expense of $108.15 per session.

Daniel also sees clients under various funding schemes with no gap fees such as DVA, Open Arms, WorkCover QLD, and the QPS self-refer program.

The preferred method of communication for GP referrals is via Medical Objects (Medicare provider number 4992845Y). Referrals can also be sent via email. If you have been provided with a paper copy of your referral you are welcome to scan and email or text a photo of each page to the practice mobile phone number.
Daniel currently takes appointments during business hours only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Please feel free to enquire about appointment availability via phone or email. Phone calls can generally be returned within one business day.
Services
Daniel sees adult clients aged 18 years and older. He has a particular interest in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and often utilises Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy as part of treatment. Other therapies provided include dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
In addition to PTSD, Daniel can assist with problems including depression, anxiety, drug or alcohol problems, grief, and emotional distress related to traumatic experiences. He also has extensive experience working with those struggling with chronic psychotic illnesses such as schizophrenia.

Daniel does not provide therapy for eating disorders. He also does not provide medico-legal assessments or any court-related documents such as letters or affidavits.
